CRAAP test

Relevance:The information from my outside source does relate to my topic and it answers a question. The quote from my source talks about cheerleading which is relevant to my paper about cheerleaders, and the quote answers the question of what does it really take to be a cheerleader.
The intended audience are the students and teacher who will be reading my paper assuming that they have very limited knowledge of cheerleaders and cheerleading. The information is appropriate for my paper. The language and sentence structure match the needs of my paper. I did look at several different source before choosing the right one for my paper. i was very comfortable citing this source in my research paper.

Authority: The article I borrowed the quote from was sponsored and published by the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Adminstrators. The association that published this article is very credible. They are a big association that has a lot to do with cheerleading in America, so they have knowledge of cheerleading a dn cheerleaders. There is contact information for the Association that is presenting the article.

Purpose: The purpose of this information is to inform readers on whether cheerleading is a sport or not. The sponors do make the purpose of the article very clear. A portion of the article is factual information and some of the article is based on the opinion of the association. The point of view does not seem objective or impartial at all. The opinion is based on feedback from other people. The opinion is not a personal biased but rather the opinion of a general group of people.
